Due to the lapse in federal government funding, NASA is not updating this website. We sincerely regret this inconvenience.

Joining MPLNET

MPLNET is a federated network composed of sites containing our own NASA instruments, as well as those owned and operated by independent research groups. Also, many of our NASA instrumented sites are operated by a local partner. All of the MPL instruments are calibrated and maintained by MPLNET, and all data are processed with the same standardized algorithms.

MPLNET has grown in size through contributions from both NASA and our federated partners. However, our core MPLNET support functions: instrumentation, calibration, and data processing/archiving/distribution, are funded directly by NASA. Due to current budget constraints, we can only accommodate a limited number of new sites. Please contact the MPLNET Project Head for more information.
